Indonesian Stand Up Comedy, Learn How To Have That Sense Of Humor!

Learn Indonesian language for free here, learn also how Indonesia has a kind of show what is so-called Stand up comedy and check it out whether you think it's funny or no.

The following is an example of a script to be performed at an Indonesian Stand Up Comedy Show. Learn how Indonesian comedians try to amuse their audience. You want to try--go ahead, it's good too to learn the language by repeating and drilling, don't you think copying the native speakers, that's the best way of learning of a language. That's what I did when learning English.

Raditya Dika, one of the famous Indonesian stand up comedian (http://metropolitanonline.co)
Some Indonesian stand-up comedians like Raditya Dika, Dodit Mulyanto, Mongol, Ernest Prakasa, Pandji Pragiwaksono, Ge Pamungkas and Ryan Adriandhy might have their own style in performing this script and I think you might too even if you only practice how to improve your bahasa skill.

Okay, here is the translation of the script of the Indonesian stand up comedy above. Enjoy practicing!

  • Punishment at schools means a lot for the future of a student. My friend who used to be punished to stand in front of the class for hours, now becomes a soldier. And he is enjoying becoming a military picket!
  • There is also a friend who now becomes a secretary because she used to be punished writing so many pages in a book. Another friend who used to be punished to run across the field, now becomes a thief.
  •  I become a comedian because I feel much more intelligent than most of my friends. A comedy performance requires high intelligence. We all have seen evidence that all comedians are smart. Starting from the era of Bing Slamet, Bagyo, Beyjamin S, until the generation of Kasino and Dono. But unfortunately, all these clever men turn out to die earlier first than any members of their group counterparts. Well, you know what? They are the most stressful thinking about the concept of joke in their group.
 Good luck.

 Tak Ingin Sendiri

indonesian song: dian piesesha
 Aku masih seperti yang dulu
Menunggumu sampai akhir hidupku
Kesetiaanku tak luntur
Hatipun rela berkorban
Demi keutuhan kau dan aku
Biarkanlah aku memiliki
Semua cinta yang ada dihatimu
Apapun Kan kuberikan
Cinta dan kerinduan
Untukmu dambaan hatiku
Malam ini tak ingin aku sendiri
Kucari damai bersama bayanganmu
Hangat pelukan yang masih kurasa
Kau kasih, kau sayang

Here is the translation of Indonesian Song: Tak Ingin Sendiri in English

(I) Do Not Want To Be Alone
I am what I used to be
Waiting for you until the end of my life
My devotion will not fade
With all my heart I dare sacrifice
For the sake of you and me
Let me have
All the love in your heart
  I will give you anything
 love and longing
For you, my beloved one
Tonight I do not want to be alone
I seek peace with your shadow
What a warm hug that I feel!
You are my love, my darling
